Josh Gruenke

Assistant Director for Student Involvement and Programming

Josh joined the SIL team in July of 2015 but had previously been at WashU in the role of Assistant Director for Programs in the Danforth University Center. In his new role Josh is excited to have more time devoted to working with students. He earned an undergraduate degree in Political Science and Legal Studies and a Graduate Degree in Adult & Higher Education, both from Morehead State University in Kentucky.  Before joining the Wash U. family Josh worked at Northern Kentucky University where he served as the program coordinator and was awarded the Leon Booth Diversity Award for his work in programming for underrepresented populations. Josh has been active on a regional and national level in student affairs volunteering in numerous roles within the National Association for Campus Activities (NACA) most notably as the Mid America Regional Coordinator for the annual Regional Conference and the Campus Activities Marketplace Coordinator for their annual national conference. Since making St. Louis his home Josh has become an advocate for St. Louis and never misses an opportunity to brag about how great this city is.
