Advisor of the Day

Campus Life’s Advisor of the Day program is a service to help student groups become remarkable. Below are the common reasons students and student organization leaders come into Campus Life for Advisor of the Day, select a meeting type from below to learn more. If you don’t see what you need, come into Campus Life on the second floor of the DUC Monday-Friday between 9-5PM to talk with an Advisor of the Day liaison who can point you in the right direction.

If a student group has a University Vendor contract such as a Bon Appetite or a University Vender Contract needing to be signed, they can turn in their University Vendor contract at the front desk of Campus Life and pick up the signed contract the next during the business day.

If you have never filled out a University Vendor Contract or have general questions, request a brief 15 minute meeting with Carynn Smith or Dean Choi.

Schedule w/ Carynn Schedule w/ Dean
* Note: Student groups are not permitted to sign their own contracts and all contracts should be signed at least 15 days before the event.

If the answer is yes, you should submit Complete Step 1 before scheduling an AoD appointment.

Step 1: Event Builder

By submitting your event on Event Builder, your organization will be connected to all of the campus departments that can assist you in planning your event. The sooner you submit this event, the sooner you can identify things that may have been overlooked.

Step 2: Meet with Campus Life

After submitting an Event Builder, Student groups should schedule a meeting with a representative from Campus Life. To ensure your event, doesn’t get canceled last minute, we recommend these meetings occurring at least one month before the event. At Advisor of the Day, you can talk through event logistics, have event contracts approved & signed, and review your Event Builder submission.
